heineken_tree_web.jpg
I didn't do much for this photo shoot, but I did make several square panels to serve as a backdrop for the beer. The grain had to align at 35˚, to match the angle of the christmas tree branches. Tricky!

hotchkiss.jpg
This was a small carving job at the Hotchkiss school in Lakeville Connecticut. The fascia on two porticos needed the name of the building carved on them, and there was no way to get a CNC router up on the ladder! The letters are about 8" high.

beechdesk2.jpg
This is one of several identical desks made for Osborne and Little. Pickled beech, stainless steel legs. Osborne and Little carries the best designer fabrics available! http://www.osborneandlittle.com/

bookbar1.jpg
A large display table for Osborne and Little. Loads of fabric swatches behind me there, in the photo. I miss having hair!

vet beam 1.jpg
To disguise this beam, I made a three board covering, which I then hewed with my adze, and stained. It's a 20' long beam, so I made it in two sections: the fan hides the joint.

vet clinic.jpg
The reception area for the vet clinic in Higganum, CT. Not shown in this photo is the giant beam above the reception area, which I disguised to look like it was hand hewn in 1814.

yarndesk1.jpg
The challenge with this project was to design something practical and good looking, on a very tight budget! This is the checkout desk at The Village Wool in Glastonbury, CT.

yarndesk2.jpg
The backside of the desk features open shelving, slots for papers, and the original cash drawer from the old store, which has sentimental value.
